NextLife has enlisted leading experts throughout the sustainability supply chain in its battle against unnecessary waste, natural resource depletion and carbon creation. NextLife is ready to bring your green product to life through science, verification, design, materials and distribution partners.
Our exclusive North American partnership with Ciba, a BASF company, allows us to scientifically guarantee that your products will be immune from greenwashing.
There are so many “moving parts” when it comes to designing, manufacturing and distributing products. Every piece of the equation – raw material sourcing, energy consumption, manufacturing, packaging and distribution channels – factors into environmental impact and carbon footprint. So, NextLife has partnered with experts in the field of product and process lifecycle assessment, Ciba Expert Services, the EHS / sustainability arm of world-renowned chemical and certification company, Ciba. Together, our comprehensive, end-to-end service offerings are beyond rival in the sustainability marketplace.
Not just any old repurposed material will suffice where NextLife is involved. Only post-consumer, certified recyclate will qualify as the foundation for NextLife Certified sustainable products.
Mountain Valley Recycling (MVR) is a national converter of plastic waste materials into sustainable resins. MVR’s process transforms waste into a new revenue stream and potentially new sustainable consumer and industrial products. MVR works to create versatile, sustainable resins and colorants that are FDA compliant. When you work with NextLife you have access to all of MVR’s recycling power.
While NextLife provides expertise, input and insight across all areas of sustainable product development, we leave the actual construction of “green” products to established, knowledgeable and reputable engineers and manufacturers. And, Cascade Engineering certainly qualifies as that with over 35 years of domestic manufacturing experience around engineered plastics systems and components for a myriad of product applications and industries. Like most NextLife licensees, Cascade has chosen to work collaboratively with NextLife to develop extremely well-engineered/designed, functional and innovative “green” products for both consumers and business. The first NextLife-branded product of that collaboration being the beautiful and sustainable RainStore™.
However, it’s Cascade’s company-wide commitment to sustainability / sustainable practices and community enrichment (instituted before sustainability was ever chic by Cascade’s CEO, Fred Keller) that makes them such a valued NextLife partner. This commitment has also provided NextLife with access to two leading, Cascade-owned companies in the areas of “green” human resource / workplace management (through Quest Sustainable Solutions) and clean energy and related products (through Choose Renewables), as we look to offer the most robust portfolio of sustainability solutions in the industry.
